86 rx7 won't start

hey guys,
i need help with my rx7. I changed the fuel pump and filters and spark plugs but my car won't start. I got good compression and the vac are good i get spark and my fuses are good. My spark plugs are also flooded and i tried to start it without the fuses to unflood it but no luck. when i put the fuel pump on it started and then it shut off right away it would do that for a couple of times and then it quit starting. after that i did the timing to see if it was that but it never started again

engine ran before you changed the fuel pump? if it did, then its something to do with the fuel... im guessing pressure wise... too much.

you could have leaky injectors... the residual pressure in the fuel line, even after the fuel pump is off, is going past the injectors and flooding your engine.

you have an 87?? i have injectors from a j-spec motor i swapped out.

(i used my high-impedance injectors from my 88 on an 86 engine/harness by crimping the 5 wires that feed into the resitor pack)

take out your injectors and have them tested at a shop.... if theyre bad, ill give you the ones i have shelved.

ive got a half decent set lying around. i can send them out for you for a few $. check the afm connections. my experience is that if the car catches and doesnt start, its 80% of the time related to a faulty afm connection.
forum members: is it possible for injectors to suddenly leak this badly?

thanks for the help guys,i got the car to start but it keeps on flooding. when i unflood it it stays on till it warms up. then the idle goes up and down till it shuts off. the sparks are new too.
