86 rx7 what is a good price

Im looking at a 86se with 102,000 car is running but idle is high 1800rpms any ideas what that could be? also what is avarage life for a 13b that is given normal mat ? body is ok small rust spot car, does not over heat I dont think he knows much about the car he said it is 4 cylinder thanks for the help

From: NY, MA, MI, OR, TX, and now LA or AZ!
Could be a number of things for the high idle, haul it to a dealer and get a compression check, that'll save you some time

sometimes you get lucky though
I got my 86 base with no sunroof an aluminum hood and 5lug rims With a rebuilt tranny and a superclean low mile engine for like 500 bucks.

of course he thought the engine was blown, but I knew it was a fuel pressure leak
oh well not my responsiblity to educate people! at least if it invovles my money
