86 RX7 Sport help

Hi, so recently I got an 86 rx7 sport that's been sitting for a few years because of front end damage. My question is, what precautions do I need to take before trying to start it other than changing fluids? Also, earlier I tried to see if it would try to start but nothing happened. All interior lights work, but the blinkers don't work, windshield wipers don't work, and the lights won't pop up. Is this a big issue or is it a wiring/fuse problem?

Interesting tidbit My early 86 sport does not have a clutch starter interlock, this became required for all 87 and up cars

Neither does mine. Manufactured in October '85. Starts w/o clutch depressed.

mine has no starter interlock either, 10/85 build. I store my car every winter so 5 months, when i get it out I usually clean the spark plugs and put a couple teaspoons of oil in each compression side by rotating the crank shaft manually. I only clean the plugs because my car has hot start flooding sometimes though, and i don't always clean them right when i put it away.
