I just purchased a 86 n/a that sat for 6 years. My local rx-7 shop replaced the feul pump and got it runnin, but rough and smokes. I replaced all of the fluids and filters, but open for any suggestions. also the dummy lights are all messed up I think theres a weird ground thing goin on because every time i push the dome light stuff flashes but nothing comes on.

 

Read around and search this site. There's simply too much info that's here you could glean an idea or two off of.

If it sat for THAT long, it's probably got a lot of carbon in the rotor housings that needs to be blown out. Look up the ATF trick.

Get a compression test done too, just for GP.
