Sitting at a red light and suddenly it acts as if eitther the leading or the trailing went dead ... missing and shaking I made it home ... any idea's ???

also check spark plugs. maybe one fouled during idle.

Check your spark plugs for fouling. That will give you an idea of what coil is not firing if it is a bad coil. Ohm out your coils. Check your compression.

Check for vacuum leaks. A leak will cause the engine to hesitate and idle like an old jalopy especially if its fuel related such as the injector grommets.
