86 fc n/a Need help

Ok so thanks in advance for any hep or suggestions im a bit stumped and could use some help before i just put er down n commit to a v8 swap.... It is my daily driver and ive done alot of work to it since i got it.it has an aftermarket walbro 255 fuel pump new fuel sock about 15k ago new fuel filter about 20k ago i run premix ive cleaned and flow tested the injectors not too long ago n they were perfectly fine.i was driving back home from the parts store yesterday and the car started a hard sputter at 3k rpms only hot. It died in the middle of the road when i finally did get it to start again i had to hold it full throttle and keep revving n clutichng to get it to the side of the road. It sat for 15 minutes n idled fine but would not rev past 4k n held at full throttle it would rev up stall out pick back up at 600 rpms n rev all the way up to 4ishk again n drop back n repeat process as long as i had it held at wot but would idle normally with the throttle untouched. When i put it in gear n tried to take off it would stall. But after 30 minutes when it had cooled down i started it up n drove it fine n normally almost home till it died again after 15 minutes of driving. So it seems to only have an issue when hot after driving for 15 minutes or so n is fine after cooling off for 30 minutes. It acted like this once before n i replaced the fuel filter n it was fine today i pulled the fuel filter again n blew it out real good with carb cleaner n checked to see if its pumping through the filter with the same volume as with no filter and it seems to be pumping more then enough fuel through the filter. Im not realy sure what i should look at next maybe maf? The only thing ive ever really seen to cause a car to act this way was trash in the fuel lines/filter or tank any help is very much appreciated as i need to get her back on the road so i can quite hogging up my girlfriends fb x) lol

Wait, you have a 255 on a n/a car? Why?

Did you put in an aftermarket FPR when you did that? The 255 is to much fuel pump for a stock n/a engine

I planned on boosting soon n had some set backs to my plans.n i know a factory n/a pump wont feed for boost. N its been running wonderful for a good while up till now with the fuel pump installed. N ive seen quite a few n/a builds running a 255 with stock fuel setup on their track cars with no negative effects... Why would a 255 be bad for n/a i can't think of any reason why a better fuel supply would be bad for a fuel injected vehicle....

Higher fuel pressure than what the stock 25 year old FPR can handle
