Um you'd need to figure out a way to do the side engine mounts. That will be your biggest issue on the hardware side. And then all the associated ecu and fuel stuff.

To be honest a better bet would be to find a more common engine from a second gena nd put that in........

the thing is i have 2 shitty firdt gens(sorry). i wnated to get a second gen with a bad or missing motor and put mine in it. my motor only has about 30,xxx miles. i also have a complete 2nd gen motor that to my knowledge is no good. i guesss what im asking is what do i need from the 2nd gen motor to make the older 13b fit. not to worried about ecu,s and such. thanks though

well, you would need to change the front cover and oil pan for starters. next, since none of the FC's wiring would be exact for the EGI or emissions i would reccomend using a megasquirt. as far as tranmission compatability and bellhousing design that may be a whole different ballgame. i would personally not attempt this project due to the complexity of it and the availability of better 13B engines. i'm not saying that the 13B from the GSL-SE is a bad engine because its not. its a VERY reliable and VERY long lasting rotary engine! i'm jsut saying that the money could be beter spent elsewhere.

It's really not easily done.

You'll need to change what is already mentioned, plus you'll need to drill out and tap the mounting holes in the center iron.
