nos is stupid on a street driven rx7, if it were a drag car nitrous would make more sense, but to have it on an already easily upgraded car is pointless and will mess stuff up. the turbo motor is already under enough stress as it is stock, no need to throw the monkey wrench of nitrous in there too. just get a bigger turbo or an upgraded intercooler and youll have similar results, except you wont have to press the nos 2 button and close the laptop when your racing. there are not too many easy ways to get hp and nitrous is for ricers.

NA an easily upgraded car? yea but it gets to a point where if you want more power nitrous is a big factor...

nitrous is the best bang for the bucks...as far as on an rotery engine ,I have no idea..all of my expieriance is on fords. If directions are followed the are no problems and the you'll get normal life out of the engine. The people I know that have had problems were always trying to get just a little more out of thier set up than it could take.As far as nitrous on a turbo....You have to have serious fuel management and ignition upgrades.

ok ..my friend doesnt think its neccesary to upgrade his fuel pump and injectors to use a 75 shot of nitrous... he doesnt believe me when i say itll blow .. 75 shot is too much on a fc witout fuel upgrades.. 50 shot at the most should be used to a stock fc.. any other thoughts from ppl?

If it is a wet kit 75 should be fine. It always a good idea to upgrade the fuel pump though. At least spend the $90 and get a Walbro 255lph pump just to be on the safe side. If he is putting it on a turbo2 though, the nitrous will probably cause his boost to raise also ( I think.. dont have much experience with N20 and turbocharged cars..) so I would suggest porting the wastegate also.

n20 is fun but if its not tuned its going to be a headache. Ive had a 100 shot wet system on my 87 n/a. After 2 months and 10 bottles i ended up with 2 broken diff mounts and a snapped driveline, but the 120k motor was still running strong. With no more funds for a fill i drove around for another month without racing when all of a sudden the motor threw an apex seal
