If I were in your shoes, I would pick up some Tokico Illuminas and Racing Beat springs.

I see a pinned post of upgraded alternators in other forum. I'd hit It. It's next on my list. Our alternators suck!

I've been thinking about that, do you know where to pick these up at a descent price? I was also thinking about (no flame please) a stearing wheel to replace the original because I have shift **** and pads that would go good with a momo silver and black wheel.

I second that, suspension before performance mods. If you have a fast car that can't handle... well.. it sucks.

you can go quickly, I'm guessing. Now you want to be able to stop just as well, IMO. Brake upgrades.

I was thinking actually even though you said it as a joke but saving my money for the future just incase the engine goes boom. what suspension do you guys recomend with 17" rims. Is there a place I can get it for a good price? Thanks

ps. oh yeah i do need demenster grills and center consol, I'll get that as well

I'm telling you, it's the small things that make you happy with the car. IE not having broken plastic to look at and rattle around. How's the exterior window trim looking?

Suspension mods sounds right for you. I would go with Tokico illuminas and RB springs (both great choices) like 88integraLS said.

I agree with both of you guys however I just did the restore on my car so there is not many interior things to be done as that was the first thing I did including...
1. new leather seats
2. new carpet
3. new radio surround
4. new rear carpet
5. new gauge cluster....well new to me
6. new exterior windows trim

but I do agree with you the small things are what makes you happy.

hey spead freak wear can I get the tokico illuminas and rb springs? and if possible, at a good price! Thanks.

Have you looked at the KYB AGX's? A set of 4 is only $410 from K2RD.com. I really like mine, although I have nothing to compare them to except what was stock.

I dissagree with the Racing Beat spring suggestions. Don't get me wrong, they are probably nice springs, but with 17" wheels your car probably looks jacked up now and still will be after the RB springs.

Get the Ground Control coilover kit ($400) with 6" front and 7" rear springs. Of course, you'll need some shocks to go with it...
This will lower your car about 2" and give you adjustability and choice of spring rates.

I'm spending my $700 on front camber plates, coming in today! Woohoo!

With the current exchange rates and non group buy prices, it's gonna cost more than 700 flat.

True, but its easier to come up with the 1/4 of the total price, than the full amount. I've seen used haltechs going for $800 or lower.
