6PI actuator crank broken. replace, repair? pic attached!

ok here's the deal. my auxiliary port valves are stuck. I spent a hew hours hosing them with WD-40 from the ouside of the motor (without taking anything apart), and turning them by "hand" (read: screwdriver and hammer )

the hammer was a bad idea, and the crank is now broken off its rod:

I wrote "rod?" because I haven't actually seen what is between the crank and the port valve itself (inside the LIM). that's my question: now that I've broken the crank off, is it possible to buy a replacement, or could it be reattached? at this point, I know that I will have to take off my intake manifolds and clean the valves properly. but once I do that, I need this crank to work or I'll be where I was before all this mess began: with no 6PI system!

thanks

Buy a lower intake manifold off EBAY such as this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting except buy one for your year car. Then make it operable. THEN remove yours and install the new/used/operable one. Less down time and they are CHEAP. Cheaper than buying the broken parts from the dealer. Local autowreckyard will do in lieu of EBAY.

why dont you just remove the 6pi system all together? What mods do you have?

are you saying the cranks and shafts that turn the auxiliary valves are part of the LIM and can't be replaced individually? that would suck for me. I see your point however, and for $20-$50 (?) it's not out of the question... not ideal either though

DEZERTE, I have no mods on this 1990 GXL and would prefer a working 6PI system. Stock goodness and a smooth(er) powerband are my gaols.
