626 Front Lip Fitted on FC3S

Mazda 626 Lip on FC3S
I don't know the exact year, but people here say 90's?

Many people know about this, and many don't just like me. So I'm lifting this up.
I found out about this just days ago and will start my hunt soon.

Check this photo:

(Edit...Remove sig violation. Check your PMs.)

Wow...that actually looks really good if you ask me. Looks like it was made for the FC.

I forgot to mention that I just made those holes on each end of the lip.
The 626 Lip don't have them.

Kinda like this photo: (excuse me with this photo)

can you give us a lil more detail, what all did you have to modify to make it fit correctly.

My front lip is about to fall off and I dont wanna pay for a new one, this would be a great replacement.

did we ever figure out what year 626 this lip comes from?

It would be a sweet adition to get rid of my scratch and gouged lip.

I used the same lip on my GXL (see attachment.)

It goes on pretty easily but doesn't quite reach the wheel well. It doesn't bug me too much and you could probably fix that if you started attaching both halves at the edge of the wheel well and then filled the gap in the front with fiberglass or a cut out section of the same lip (I got mine for $2 at the wreckers so you might as well get spares. )

It's from..19(89?) to 19(92?). I think '93 was the Geo Prism re-model.

Too bad that lip doesn't fit an S5 bumper. I picked one up from the junkyard this morning and brought it home to realize my bumper isn't straight across the front.. it dips back in around an inch.

Oh, and here's slvr7's original post on this lip.

Sorry man, I should've mentioned it's for Series Four.
You can actually tell from the photo that it's an S4.

Sell that lip. Someone will buy it.
If I don't find what Im looking for in the JY, I'll let you know if you're willing
to let that go.
