60mm A-pillar guage pods?
Do these exist for the FC? Corksport advertises that they have them, so I bought some 60mm guages. I got a pod from Corksport and its a 52mm pod! I called em up to order a 60mm pod and they said they would ship one out when they got it the next day. Then they email me and said autometer does not make 60mm pods for the fc EVEN THOUGH CORKSPORT CLAIMS TO HAVE THEM.
Anyone know where I can get a 60mm A-pillar dual guage pod for my car?? Or am I just stuck trying to dremel this pod out? Which by the looks of the guages and the pod I won't be left with much plastic around the guages at all...
Perhaps maybe there is someone out there that makes custom 60mm a-pillar pods on this forum?
I'm not trying to diss corksport at all. In fact I like them, they are always very curtious and prompt with shipping parts. But I have noticed alot of online stores that sell rx7 parts and accessories have websites that are either ancient(mazdatrix, fc3s) and outdated or have alot of stuff misslabled. What the hell is up with that? Can these guys just not find anyone to update their sites for them?
If anyone from such site reads this and do in fact need someone to update or overhaul your site, let me know. I know some people that do excellent web work.

Like you said above, I'll be going through the site and fixing garbage like this.
I fixed the website, it was just generic AutoMeter pillar pod text in there. Also, I called up to order your dual 60mm pod, and they told me alright and that they would next day it to me. After that they called me back and informed me that they do not make them in 2 5/8" for the FC.
As it said (I've since made it less ambiguous) on there "with models for 2-1/16" and 2-5/8" gauges" they do make both, but unfortunately the FC doesn't get one of their 2-5/8" models. In your original order you never even specified which size of pod you wanted. So we shipped the order. Had you specified which size you wanted we never would have shipped out a product that doesn't exist, thus avoiding this entire situation. I apologize for you getting one that doesn't work for what you want, but I did everything I could to try and get you one.
Like I said in the email I am very sorry that they don't make a 60mm pod for the FC, and I am even more sorry that I couldn't get you one. Unfortunately it is out of my hands whether or not Autometer decides to make a pod for a particular car.

Yeah the first guage pod I think I ordered off the site without calling. The site never gave me a size choice so I figured it would work for the 60mm guages and the 52mm guages used a spacer to fit. Oh well.
I figured that was the generic autometer text. Even autometer should not advertise in there generic text that they make 2 sizes for all cars when in fact they do not...
Ryan, its probably not a bad thing that I got the wrong pod anyway. Because now I can at least try to make it work with a dremel tool!
