6 port Holley

Hi,
Is it possible to keep the 6 port actuators working and use a Holley?
Thanks,
Vin

sure you can do a 6 port with a holly, you would just need a custom intake manifold

Of course I am not sure why anyone would want to go back to the '50s and '60s fuel/mixture technology, but what ever floats your boat

Doesn't the Racing Beat 6-port manifold bolt up to it?

Or am I drunk?

no actuators

Ya,
RB makes a intake for the six port, but it does not use the actuators.
Oh well, it seems that I am out of luck,

maybe you could drill it and use the inserts out of a conventional 6PI manifold

In the words of my father...
JUST WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU ACTUALLY SPEND MONEY TO END UP WITH A CARB?

You don't need 6pi anyway because carbs have their own secondaries...

Ya...

I think your right about the secondaries.

I'm using the carb because I want to keep the total cost of my car below $4K including a paint job. So far so good, but only because I got some really good deals.

why mess with the FI that your car already has on it? it doesn't cost too much to keep in tip top shape

Or go with a Megasquirt.. Try to find a carb solution that will cost less than $250 to completely implement..

I would do the megasquirt if I had a fuel injected car, it's carbed.
