Hey guys, Just needed an opinion. I just got a set of racing beat headers but the presilencer was back ordered. I think I'm going to just go have a straight pipe made but I want to make sure my 6 ports still work. The guy at mazdatrix says I can probably just cut the small pipe of my cat and have it welded onto the straight pipe at an angle to catch the exhaust flow and it will operate the six ports. Has anyone ever done this? Also why does removing the ports result in a loss of low end power?
