Old thread bump.

I'm actually looking at doing something similar to run 15x9 6UL's for the track.

I assume nothing ever came of this for the op but pointing and laughter, lol.

Yes, that is his fate in life, an object of scorn and derision.

You'll be unsurprised to learn that the Meer still has no wheels, but he's at least upped his game and upgraded his "pretend rims" to custom made steelies.

They make hub adapters to convert lug patterns from one to another , how good they are I have no clue , but just an idea I figured I'd throw out there.

Im pretty sure i have made a bunch of people laugh with this thread, this was just the beginning of a healthy career of embarressing myself on rx7 club. after going through fire and ice with my seven and learning some stuff in the process, mostly thanks to clokks , i would advise that if you have the four pot front calipers keep em and find some other wheels with the 5x114 lug pattern. i noticed that you have described yourself as a broke noob. you wont be a noob forever dude but now that you own a rx7 i dont hold high hopes for your economy. theres not many of us that arent broke on here

Indeed they do, but they're quite expensive and are also only available in very thick sizes.

I got a good laugh with it too, but I'm only interested in this for motorsports reasons as there is no commonly available 15x9 wheel with that bolt pattern and I rather not go with a bigger diameter (16 or 17). I'm no noob though, I've been around these forums for almost 10 years now.

i assume that if your doing this for motorsports reasons weight is a factor? if its not that important to you widened steelies are a good way around the whole getting the configuration you want thing. anyway i hope you solve it man! best of luck

I believe the 4x100 is the Miata pattern. If you really had too much time and money you can swap over the Miata hardware, then get the big brakes kit and have the 4x100 pattern and better brakes (though I do like the brakes on the RX7). Good luck!
