My ports on my s5 arent opening. i had a couple questions are they supposed to open above 3500rpm when car is in nutraul? Also how easy should it be to pull on the rod to open them? i can pull it buts it seems pretty stiff. Could that be a reason for them not opening while driving? any other ideas?

 

You probably have gummed up sleeves. It's pretty common. 1 of mine is gummed up right now! We'll have to pull the intake off and clean them. I've heard of some guys using anti-seize to prevent it f/ occurring again. I think that I'll try it. Anyhow, you could also have a bad solenoid oorrr your airpump has issues. It's really a simple set-up. It won't take much brain power to figure out. Lemme know how it turned out.
