5th/6th port problem
The more i get into this car the more i find wrong. Looks like the 5th & 6th ports aren't working. I saw on the FAQ's how to test them & tried it. Put a little grease on the port rods and took it for a drive. The gease didn't move on the rods, just the same little glob i started with. The rods do have an obvious wear/clean spot from where it should move, but on this test they didn't. And yes, i did drive the car fairly hard and was well into the 6000+ rpm range several times.
Now for the questions; first - can these be serviced? Do the have to be replaced? I do know the car has been sitting for the last 3 - 4 months without use. Is this long enough to freeze them up? Can putting new ones, saw some on Corksport's site, fix them.
Anyone with experience with these things & how to fix them?
PLEASE i need some good advice here, thanks!!!!

no they work. if they are really bad it is a little harder because it require the intake manifold to be removed but, other than that it's not hard. Aaron knows what he is talking about
