5 spd trans from a 2nd gen. is it true?
ok well i have a question for expierience rx7 owners . ive been told the 5 spd trans used in 2nd gens are a t5 made by ford? same bellhousing ? and shaft? so this would be capatible with a ford 5.0 engine?
Whoever told you that... kick them in the *****. It not fit without an adapter, and the T5 is made by Borg Warner, not Ford.

the 94+ manual transmission rangers do use a Mazda transmission, however its a P type, which is completely different than the R type that is used in the rotary cars
