5-lug conversion clarification

I'm doing a 5-lug conversion to my car, and was wandering if I need to get the spindles from the 5-lug car. I searched a bunch and it seems that I don't need them, but I just want to make sure. thanks.

also, does $150 sound about right for a 5-lug conv. from a GXL?? with new pads (and rotors within specs)???

you will need the front and rear hubs. I changed the whole rear suspension instead of wrestling with getting the rear hubs off. The fronts are no big deal of course.

150 sounds reasonable if you got more than just rotors and calipers. Did you get the four piston calipers for the front and the vented rear disk?

If you are replacing the rear suspension, now would be a good time to go with energy suspension polyurethane bushings. they really tighten up the car. I felt an immediate difference in mine.

Not sure if you need the spindles because I changed out the entire front assembly. I would assume that the originals will work though.
