my friend's t2 beeps 5 times repeatedly after or during a hard run. he and i were wondering about the error codes and how to fix the problem.

 

The beeping is from the power steering computer. It can be attributed to a variety of problems but check a few things:

Does the speedometer work correcty? (the PS is speed sensitive, so no speedo would produce an error)
Do the blinkers work properly or has he installed an aftermarket steering wheel? (behind the steering wheel is a sensor that tells the PS computer whether you have the wheels pointed straight or not, if the plastic back there fails, the mechanism wont work and hence, an error)
Is the PS wiring hooked up properly to the PS pump?
Is there enough PS fluid in the pump?

Could also be poor/degrading wiring that causes a malfunction. Good luck!
