13500 canadian or 13500 american? Or some other currency altogether?

If American, I think it is too high. Regardless of the lower mileage, it is still a 16 year old car. Plus we all know the list of common problems, this may not be showing symptoms yet.

But, I am by no means an expert on TII....

Plus, you are looking at buying it I assume, so it is your money and whatever makes you happy.

Should be on a Canadian model. If the Speedo is in KM, then the odometer should also be in KM.....

For canadian, it is a little high. but if the car is as clean as you say, then not by much if at all.

47 000km is brand new for an FC. most have 200k now.

but 13k is pretty high. especily for an 87-88.

if you already have a turbo II why the post about swaping a turbo into an N/A ????

where?? do you know the canadian currency exchange rate? $13,000american would get you a 'much-needing-work-FD' here. dunno what they cost there; can't imagine it being too different.

$13Kcan = ~$10,077

Even tho it has low miles it is still 15-16 years old! How do you know all of those aren't horrible start stop start stop city miles? Those are usually worse on the car then highway miles (in my opinion anyway). Good luck with the new ride though! And welcome to the club!

Here in Quebec, its a lil bit high, but if it is a quality one, get it.

It's high. I bought an AE with 12k miles for $7500. I would've paid about 5-6 for a regular TII with even that low of miles on it...
