3rd gen wheels on 2nd gen

I've scored a great deal on a set of 3rd gen wheels and wanna run them on my 91 vert. The rears fit ok but the front isn't even close. Any ideas including spacers and where to find them. Also, how about swapping the front struts for coilovers. Thanks.

You need to run spacers on the front to prevent the tire from rubbing the strut assembly. Use the 25mm hubcentric spacers from H&R. You may also need to run 205's on the front to prevent the tire from rubbing the fender lip.

I currently have the following:

H&R 25mm spacers on all four tires...
225/50/16's on the rear
205/55/16's on the front.
