650 is about max for a bt engine after that it is not a matter of housings cracking the e shaft will twist itself, they sell a 3 pc aftermarket e shaft up here but it is like 3k and good for 1000 hp

A rotor housing is a rotor housing... The front cover on an FC is different, the motor mounts are different, the rear plate is different. It doesn't matter that he has FD rotor housings, its still a series 5 engine.

Huh? FD housing are a lot different than FC housings ... put them side by side sometime. FD's have 3 finger ports stock, it takes a lot of grinding to get 3 fingers in a FC port. A LOT more beef around that dowel hole under the oil filter too on FD's.

The rotor housings are not that different.. the things you just listed are from the intermediate & side housings not the rotor housings..
