I broke my 2nd gen gearbox this week drag racing and i am fed up of these weak boxes.What i want to do now is put a 3rd gen box in my car using my 2nd gen bell housing and i know i have a little fabrication to make the gearbox mounts but thats no problems.I want to know if the gear ratios are diff in both boxes and how much stronger are the 3rd gen box.Thanks.

 

2nd and 3rd gen are about the same, strength wise IMHO.
