3rd gen exhaust on TII
Searched and no results.
Is there any problem of fitting a 3rd gen exhaust onto a TII? I found a good deal on a Greddy and also a Tanabe 3rd gen exhaust then it just came to mind.
I would not think that there is any difference in the pressure of the muffler. I know custom work would be done, but thats not a bigg at all. Just cut the muffler off and have muffler shop do piping. What do you guys think?
I was thinking of going 2.5DP to 2.5cat to maybe a 3rd gen catback(with required fittings)
Opinions? Anyone who has done it?

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
How would it fit???
There is nothing in common with mounting points or even suspension design that would allow a 3rd gen exhaust to fit where normally a 2nd gen exhaust would run.

It does not fit.
If you're looking for cheap, look for some mufflers and a local muffler shop to do the piping.
Since the FD's are all single exit, you really want to do the same too?

Couldnt you make brackets and have it custom fabricated? Yea, single exit is what I was wanting.
It was just a thought, I did not know how complicated it would be to have someone or have my friend do someone welding. Which I am still wondering about doing it.
Performance wise, would there be any advantages , disadvantges, or the same results?
