Hey I found a 2nd gen with a bad engine for cheap. the engine runs but it has coolant in the oil and other way around. How Hard would it be to swap out the engine for a 13b-rew. i know the ecu has to go but will i need to change motor mounts anything like that. what are the biggest problems with the conversion. if some one can help me with these questions that would be great. thanks

 

It sure is a pain in the *** just to be able to say you have a 3rd gen engine

 

the motor mounts are totally different= big bitch

if i convert to a 20b what ecu do i roll with. where can i get a 20b cheap. and what all do i have to do. where can i get upgrades for it. i would like to know everything about install and upgrades

forget about the 138REW, go with the new renesis motor in the rx-8...
250 hp stock... =)
N/A too... so no tubo gremlins to deal with.
