This a just a question, I do have a walbro 255 waiting to be installed. Is having a 3inch exhaust, and FCD not enough? Im pretty sure its dangerous, and you can easily fold a seal without the fuel pump, if youre not careful. Im just deciding wether or not to take my car to get emissions tested before or after I put my pump in. I dont want some idiot blowing my engine at the testing station.

I'd put the pump in as soon as possible, but I hear you're a little safer if you still have the stock intake.

Is that a full exhaust???
If so, how do you pass emissions with a full exhaust?

with that 3" exhaust you will experience some boost creep and no amount of extra fuel will help save the motor. be very careful

I have a catyltic converter, or does it not matter because my exhaust is so big? Also, thanks fot the info guys, I think I will install the pump before I get it tested.

if you have a cat you are probably fine without the pump. do you have the stock air box? do you how how much boost you are running?

I really doubt the emissions people will do any harm, you have to be driving pretty hard to get boost creep.

My state uses a Dyno type thing, on which they got my old mustang to squirm around on, so I wouldnt put it past them.
