I'm not sure how alive this thread is still or if anyone is still trying create models, but I have been searching for the center console vents and for the side mirror cover. I did end up buying a file for the side mirror cover but unfortunately it was not designed to my liking and I have far too little experience with 3d modeling to do anything about it. If anyone could make one or both of them or have found them please let me know!

i wish the FC crowd was more into remaking parts as the FD guys are. there's very few parts models for the FC out there and it's too bad. lots of parts are hard to come by and it would be nice to have those files to make our own parts. shark fin mirror covers is one that comes to mind like you said.

i have a rather large printer, gauge hoods and turbo hood intake ducts aren't even out of the question. however i suck at 3d modeling and have no time to do that sort of thing. simple picture rendering and conversion has come a ways in recent years though but still not as perfect as a true 3d model generation from 100s of angles.

i print my parts in ABS, in a heat enclosure and reinforce/solidify them with an acetone bath. so the results are longer lasting than even the factory ones.

Fortunately for you I have begun my development of the mirror panels! I expect it will take me likely another 2 weeks or so to get them to my liking because of school and work, but once I have them done I will definitely send them here. I also doubt that they will be near what others who have more experience with 3d modeling could do, but I will try my best. Unfortunately though, I doubt that I will get around to modeling to the center vents for a while. When do get around to it I will make sure to send the models in here.

Have you tried ASA? It's supposed to be similar to ABS but has more UV resistance.

nope, there's lots of new materials that have come out in recent years. most of my experience was with the original materials and ABS has been my goto since PLA was utter trash. took a while to get good prints with ABS and heat was the key to getting them. haven't had much issue with ABS fading but most of the things i printed haven't been exposed to sunlight 24/7 for years on end. if i was concerned, some plastic resin paint or acrylic could be applied as a buffer.

the nice thing i've found with ABS though is you can bond it relatively easily with trash left over from prints(simply mix abs and acetone to make your own bonding adhesive), or simple ABS glue found most anywhere so larger prints can be assembled from smaller parts.

I finished my development on the mirror fin! There are a few things that need a little bit of adjusting, but it was more than enough for me considering there was nothing there before. The STL is attached below unfortunately I cannot attach the STEP file, but once I am done waiting the 24 hours to be able to publish the files on thingiverse it will be listed on there.
Attached Files
File Type: zip

Im having some of the a pillar screw caps printed. For what its worth regarding some of the previous comments: ive had 3D dash vents printed out and gauge hood printed with supposed high temperature resistance and they didnt last 5 months in texas. Half of that time was in a garage and all was with sun shades. Thats why people dont print here id imagine. 3D printed items are a pure desparation move for me due to the heat.

here is a good reminder that you can also print metal; here are some of my inconel 718 and 625 parts:

and lets not forget about the exhaust sleeves that have no emissions holes to disrupt the flow or dilute your oil:

and here was some AlSi10Mg intake manifold I had experimented with:

Out of curiosity, what is the process you use for printing these inconel or aluminum alloy parts? I'm guessing you have access to some very expensive industrial equipment?

I do not. I paid to have it printed, but it was quite reasonable (prior to tariff wars anyways).

Ah, what site did you use? I found a couple of sites like protolabs.com. I'd like to know if there was one you had a good experience with.
