330mm steering wheel on manual rack, anyone run that?

Just wanting to know if anyone has this. I was wanting to get a maval s4 rack for my t2, and the wheel I want is 330mm.

Just let me know how you like it and dislike it.

And can it get away from you on midcorner bumps or anything like that?

I do, it can get away from you if the bump is significant enough, but truely when I am actually DRIVING(auto-x) It doesn't get away from me as i have a firm grip with both hands. Does make for some nice sharp inputs though. I will take about a week or 2 to get used to, but I like it. Steering seems heavier but with more feedback as you will then have less leverage against the tires with a manual rack. Overall, I like it better than with the stock wheel, but if you're picky, don't do it. you may find it uncomfortable.

I didnt' say that I found it uncomfortable.
However, I don't have the same sensitivity as other people to nvh (noise vibration and harshness).
I run 225/50/16 on stock turbo rims, when I auto-x I run same size in hoosier a3so5 on FD rims. Only roblems I have had are with slow bumps over one tire and not the other. they can take the wheel out of your hand sometimes if you're not ready. Thats it really

I'm just saying, I don't care if it is a little uncomfy.
This is a MANS car

Both of my RX-7s that I had in phoenix had no AC. the first gen had manual steering, so I don't think I'm going to have a problem w/ ditching AC and converting the ps to a manual rack in north bay where its cool all year.

Awesome, thanks for the input! I bet its a real workout auto-xing w/ hoosiers

Keep the front tires 225 or under, and it should be okay.
I wouldn't run anything under 350mm myself, but that's personal preference.
I got big hands.
