1.7 is rated safely to 14psi on stock turbo. That's a good 50-100hp less than your desired range. I would recommend gettign a Rtek 2.0 with 720's all around or maybe bigger secondaries just as a precaution. I always prefer to stay on the safe side when it comes to a $2,000+ motor. The motor can be more reliable when you put less strain on the setup to produce that number. Like mentioned above, 8psi on a larger turbo will last longer than 16psi. |
