300 Ft/Lbs

That's my goal. 300 foot pounds of torque at the wheels.

BNR stage 4, water/meth injection, 720cc/1000cc (or larger secondary if needed) haltech e6k. Rotary Extreme VMIC.

What do you think? Can I get this?

yeah, you should be fine. My car made 250 ft/lbs and 270 whp with a BNR stage 2 and a stock TMIC.

Yes. Especially with proper water/meth injection.

I made 319 wtq with stock internals and stock turbo putting it through hell on 17lbs. You should easily be able to get in the 300's.

Should be no problem.

My BNR stage4 at 14psi made over 300ft/lbs.

Over 290ft/lbs from 4,500rpm to 7,000rpm.

Forgot to mention S5 NA rotors as well.

So should I shoot for 400 ft/lbs?

That is going to require a lot of new parts. BNR stage 4 will definitely not get you there

Just tune it and you'll get what you get No reason to shoot for some arbitrary number.

are you running the S5 NA rotors on a 4 port or 6 port? I'm interested to see what your dyno sheet looks like when it's tuned. A lot of the FD autocrosser guys are running 9.7 rotors for the increased torque and boost response.

Assuming you have the proper fuel modifications to back all of that air. Is this actually happening?... Or is this a "what do I need"?

I'll tell you what I have now -

E6k
Atkins rebuild kit
RA classic seals
Goopy refurbished housings
Irons (I need to lap them)
BNR stage 4
Pair of 720cc injectors (need secondary injectors still)
Walboro 255 L/hr fuel pump
Corksport 90mm test pipe and down pipe
Snow performance water/meth kit w 3 nozzles. (Need to figure out what sizes they are.)
Rotary Extreme v mount intercooler kit is being made right now.

So other than that I need a cat back made and I need to put it all together.

That's a great start for 300 ft/lbs of torque.

I recommend purchasing an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Any porting planned??

I used Bosch 1,680cc secondaries. Some may claim they're overkill... There's room for adjustment. ;-)

I think there's someone selling a pair of brand new 1,680cc Marren fuel injectors. They may be sold, though. -> https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati...ctors-1022402/

That;s easy, stock RX7 FC S4 n/a has about 1700Ft/Lbs of torque at the rear wheels in 1st gear :-)
You mean calculated crankshaft torque measured at the rear wheels on a chassis dyno

This does bring up a good point though.

Most people complain of the rotaries lack of torque when they really mean it lacks low rpm power. They are completely different things.

Rotaries typically hit peak torque and then stay flat much longer than piston engine cars.

What this means is that with torque multiplication from your gears you can put down more torque to the ground where it matters for a given vehicle speed than an engine that peaks its torque early and trails off quickly.

I have the 720cc and 1600cc injectors as well on my BNR Stage4 and at 14psi I was around 60% injector duty cycle with AFRs in the 10s.

If I were to do the injectors over I might go for the ID2000 for the smoother transition into 2ndaries.
