Polyester???
I don't think PE can handle high heat.
The website does quote 350F.
Silicone can easily handle like 600F...700F intermittent?
Why use something with lower heat capabilities?

It sounds good and the site claims for IC setups. But charged air can reach 350F and who knows about engin bay :-/

A ruber style hose would keep the bay temps from heating up the aluminum and posibly keep a cooler charge after the IC but I doubt the bay temps are as hot as the charged air :-/

At about 15psi, the intake temps start to head over 200F usually.
At closer to 20psi, it start to get around 300F.
That's a little too close for my comfort.

FORGET THAT!!

Even before my alcohol injection, I never saw air temps in excess of 150 @ 17 PSI.. 300??!?! Fuuuuuuuuuuuk that! Sounds like a poorly matched turbo being ran to within an inch of its life.

According to the website, the hose can handle 350* F continuous, so it can presumably handle higher temps intermittently. If you're worried about temps, they also make a 4-ply hose that handles 500* F continuous.

The prices aren't too bad considering the cost of aluminum intercooler piping.
