2nd Generation Rx-7 Service Wiki, good idea? :)
We've been using a Wiki at work to put together a master tome of our collective knowledge and it's working really well. It's a fairly simple concept. We all work together to create a database of service instructions and information. Anyone can edit the document and add articles ensuring that it contains a large amount of information.
I've created a couple of quick articles under the Braking System section as an example.

I've been using the Haynes manual and FSM as a guide and added my own experience into the mix. The one thing we must be careful off is putting opinion into something like this, which is what the forums is for. This should be a tome of fact, not opinion. The major advantage over a flat manual (like the FSM) is that experience can be added to the mix and hopefully help people out that have never done the service before and ways to do it better.

I should mention that once you write something to the Wiki it can be modified by other users. They can add their own tips, fix any spelling mistakes, add diagrams and other content, and fix any discrepencies.
The Wiki formatting language is very easy to learn and can be done just be hitting the edit button at the top of any page and looking at what I've written so far. It take two seconds to sign up so you can edit and it's a great way to blow some time and help make the world a better place for rotary owners everywhere (:barf: .)
If this catches on I'll start keeping regular backups and this Wiki server is supposed to grant us our own domain if it becomes popular enough.
Hey, if someone has some time to kill I would appreciate it if they could enter the proper size of Speed Bleeders on this page: http://www.editthis.info/2nd_generat...Speed_bleeders

If you're keen on contributing, just pick something you've done recently like a clutch job, suspension replacement, etc and create it in the proper section. If you don't have any ideas on what to contribute, just flip through the Wiki until you find something you KNOW about and have experience working with. Topics w/o articles written are red links and clicking on the link brings you right to the editing page.
I'm going to create the base skeleton of topics and such with my spare time today between jobs and maybe flesh a few articles out as well.
*I added a contributin guidlines article, please feel free to add to it and hack it apart if I forgot something: http://www.editthis.info/2nd_generat...php/Guidelines
