2 people had told me that. Not hard to believe since they share so many cues with the 944

There are a few differences, but they look very much alike. I would have to say the 944 looks better stock, but not better than a FC with good body kit.

Yeah, when I had my 87 TII I had people ask me all the time if it was a porsche.

I think they defently resemble porshes, but ive never had someone tell me it looks like one just yet.
And ive always seen a very strong image of the 3rd gen rx7 and the newer corvetts. Its so weird cuz if you look at the front half of a corvette from an angle you can see the rx7's front end. Plus the new c5 corvette resembles the rx8 a lot. Not that im partail to vetts at all just that when i see em they remind me so much of the rx7's

I had that from a very non-car person. Thing is from a very quick glance I could see how someone *might* say that. I don't like the look of the Daytona.

Front of the FC looks a lot like a 944, but the rear certainly doesn't.

a guy across the street from me has a 944, and its amazing the similarities; the curves, the wheels, the body shape, the 160mph speedo. but then there are the subtle differences: the cross drilled rotors, roll cage, better tires (i dont what is stock or aftermarket on his). all i know is that they do look alike.

everything about the porsche 944 seems to be just a LITTLE bit better than the comparable year Rx7, but when you put it all together, it's quite a difference. I rode in my buddy's 944T and it wasn't much faster than my TII, but the little things, namely the brakes, were just incredible. It was enough to make me rethink spending just a little less for the Rx7 over the Porsche... of course now, mine gives me problems, but his is in pieces.
