Ok, Im in the process of swapping an S4 TII motor into my 88 vert, and had a few questions.
I'm using the NA harness and 88 'vert ecu. I know that when the ECU is swapped, 3 pins on the harness need to be changed. Does this also need to be done for my ECU? Since it's still the same box, just with the capability of running two different maps, will the pin outputs change when it switches from the NA to TII map?
The harness is from my 88 'vert, but I really dont know what year the TII engine is from, besides that its an S4. What is a definative way of telling whether the injectors are low imp or high imp?
The turbo uses a fuel pump resistor relay to lower the voltage to the fuel pump at low loads/part throttle, but the NA doesnt. Will a turbo fuel pump work if it is just swapped in, without this resistor relay, to the stock NA wiring? If so, will it always be running at the "full load" voltage?
The link i had to a FSM seemed to go dead, and since i swapped the hard drive on my laptop, I no longer have the downloaded copy. could someone please give me another link?
and lastly, what size are the bolts that hold on the TMIC?
Thanks for your help!

Ok, just got done labelling the emissions harness among other things, and discovered that there are plugs for the knock sensor and twin scroll actuator (or at least they had the same color wires going to the correct type of plug.) I was labelling it using the wiring diagram in the FSM for the turbo. Do these plugs have other uses for an NA?
The alternator plug was also on the emissions harness, whereas the FSM said it should be on the engine harness. The knock control box connector was also missing, which leaves me quite confused.
also, there was no circular plug for the fuel pump resistor relay on the front harness.. what do I need to adapt to get this to function?
Thanks!

Ok, all the injectors were red, rectangular, and had an offset notch, which fit perfectly into the '88 wiring harness off my NA, so i guess that means that the turbo engine's from an 88, or at least had the injectors changed.
I guess I'm in somewhat uncharted territory when it comes to the N338 and associated wiring harness? damn all this mismatched ****!
