2nd gen headlights

alrite i bought a 87 na and i noticed that my headlights are flickering on and off when i hit the brakes, like it only does it sumtimes, sumtimes its fine, but do yall have any idea wut the prblem is and where the grounds are for the headlights

Sounds like it could be a weak alternator or battery. I don't know electrical though, I'm just bullshitting.

It could be if the headlights are dim when they're on too, what does your voltmeter read?

weak batt is wut it sounds like. With your car not running turn all the lights on, and step on the breaks and look for it to dim. If it does dim then u kno ur problem is most likely batt but still could be alt.

thanks for the help, um my voltometer is readin right at 12 when drivin, but drops when the lights start to flicker, ill check everything out though
