2nd gen body noise

Has anyone's 2nd gen coupe exhibited squeeks in the rear body? My 91 coupe has 45,000 miles on it and the body begins to squeek badly once it warms upand driven for several miles. . It is not noisy when it first starts out cold. I have lubed the entire undercarriage several times to cure the problem but this does not remedy the condition. Any help would be appreciated.

Mine creaks like an old chair or door when I go slowly over speedbumps....I don't know why though the suspension is fine.

I have that same squeaking. It really bothers me. I figure it's just because I have worn suspension. I don't know though.

The last three FC's were squeaking from the hatch. Lube up the latches and it should go away. (It did for me.)

the hatch does make some noise, but after i put on some firmer shocks, just regular kyb's nothing too stiff i had alot of squeaking and creaking from the rear suspension. i dont know if its worn bushings or what. im going to replace all the bushings with urathane ones and i doubt they will make any more noise than the stock suspension does for me right now. my convertable is just as bad and its all stock.

What would you use to lube the hatches up? WD-40?

Sounds like old worn suspension grommets & shocks.

Spray lithium grease works on hinges, latches, & spring perchs.
