First of all this is not an advertisement.

I have a 6 wheels taking up space for 20 years that I want to get rid of. I used them for rallying, so some are scratched and dinged (but still solid and usable). I looked at the classifieds here and saw a few, but not much (unless I'm looking in the wrong place). I looked on ebay and they don't appear to be selling well.

Are these things worth anything, or should I sell them for scrap? Unless they are valuable I don't want to bother with trying to sell and box them up for shipping.

The only FC wheels that are worth anything are convertible BBS (even though the sizing is less than preferable), 10AE wheels just due to their rarity, and Efini BBS from Japan.

I would see if anyone wants or needs them for free, otherwise I'd scrap them.

 

Sadly, thats what I had to do with mine. No one locally wanted them for $25, so I sold them to a junkyard for $8 each.

 

The S5 Turbo II wheels are pretty desireable. Of Course so are the 16" Infini JDM wheels. The convertible wheels are probably in close second. After that I'd say the Polished 15" GXL/GTU wheels.

The Infini wheels bring around 1000-1500 a set depending on condition. The 15" Vert BBS maybe 350$ a set in great condition.

All of this stuff is getting more and more difficult to source so the price flucuates depending on region and how much the person buying really needs it.

Should clarify that the only 15" wheels that are reliably worth something are the BBS vert wheels. 16" ones are definitely more desirable, but the s4 turbo wheels are still hard to sell from personal experience.

 

On a related note, do you have the Mazda caps that come with the wheels?
