Ever since i bought the car, i have always have problem with my 2nd gear. However, this weekend my 2nd gear would not go in most of the time but at time it will engage. I will like to know if is my 2nd gear synchro key, where can i buy a synchro key and how hard is to put it?

 

its not a synchro key

its just a synchro or synchro ring.

replacing it would require taking the transmission off the car and opening up the bellhousing.

 

I HIGHLY doubt this is your problem, but it's worth a shot. Try tightening all the bolts that hold the transmission housing to the engine. I was under the car the other day and noticed that one of mine was loose and so i tightened then all down and now my transmission shifts MUCH better.

 

Where can i get a Synchro ring or synchro?
