Yeah, I read that a while back but I don't think they did that. I just scanned over the site again and I couldn't find a reference to it. Maybe I'm blind....

The engine was moved back in the convertible. I think that rx720bt did it as well. There's a 20B thread in the performance mods section.

Go to Spinracing.net This is Scott Nevilles site. The car is alot further along now but you'll get the idea. I believe he has an email address on the site if you have further questions. If not go to my car club web site and you'll find it there. www. mrccfl.com Our site is very new so be nice. It really is a bad *** site so ya go to these places and your 20b questions will be answered.

Hehehe - that's my car. No, the engine hasn't been relocated because it's not worth the trouble. There really isn't much weight increase in the 20B, and most of it is still behind the front axle, so I really don't see a whole lot of increase in the moment arm. Also, trading the heavy stock turbo unit for the T66 freed up an incredible amount of weight on my engine, so I'm not sure if there is even a significant weight difference any more. I understand that mounting the engine lower would increase the cornering ability of the car, but it would be by such a small amount that it wouldn't be worth the effort (remember, my car isn't legal in many racing classes, so I'm not at all concerned about winning any races). A TII hood with a gutted IC scoop allowed the engine to fit nicely into the 2Gen's bodywork without relocating the engine.

Yes, George's RXX-7 had the engine relocated by PFS. I think that this is referenced in the text of the site, but there aren't any pictures of the relocation process.

The sites that Mike listed are pretty good, but you may find more info on this subject here:
