Sure the engine is easy to get in the car. Big deal huh. Never mind clearance problems and cooling that thing and all the other 'little things' that are 'easy' to do. They have been swapped for $10,000 or slightly less but are not tapping the potential of the 20b. One person has gotten the stock cosmo auto tranny to work with the stock (heavily modified) cosmo ecu. Was not easy for him. If you plan on a big single with that much power, you are looking at least 35,000 or so. Some steetable 900 hp 3rd gens, huh. Whose?

Trav -- Yeah, the more I think about it, the less I really want to drop a 20b in my car.. I mean sure, it would be %^&ing awesome, and definately worth doing in the end... but really, I am not sure wanna spend 10,000 (not including the engine) on fixing up my rx7 just to handle the 20b engine...

Maybe down the road I will conder it if I find a real nice fd for cheap, but I am probably better off just selling the 20b should I buy it and fix up my current engine with the profit I make off of it.

I have a strong engine already with some street porting on it, so I could definately pushing the rest of the car a bit harder and produce some good hp with my current na.

So instead of beefing up my current car, I might just work on the styling a bit more. I have a nice body kit that could use some tlc and it would be perfect once again.

thx for everyone's input tho, it's been a lot of help.

Hey,

I have done the conversion from a 13B to a 20B I used a t66 on 6psi and produced 650rwhp hence the name. It's a big project to do depending on what you already have. For example it cost me $8,000 aussie dollars but i already had the turbo intercooler and other gear. My car should run 10's if u want some pics ill try to get some

Cheer Chris
