2 Years, No fuel, No Start

I got an 86' N/A form a friend. It has been sitting for a long time with no fuel in it. I filled it up and put a new fuel pump in but it still won't start. The fuel pump isn't getting any power does anyone know how to reset the system.

Thanks

you'l probably wanna put in a new filter too if it's been sittin' that long.. and when you do get it running do a full 60k tuneup.

The fuel pump does NOT run with the key to ON normally.

The fuel pump will run with the key to On IF you have the fuel pump check connector jumpered.

The fuel pump will run if the engine is running, Or you hold the vane in the AFM to the aft positon.

So do the jumper job with the key to ON and then say that the pump has no power.

The power would be on the pure blue, large wire on the chassis side of the fuel pump connector.
