1) My car was purchased with a missing belt. My alternator belts started to fall apart so i bought all new belts. Im just going to replace everything. I searched but didnt find to much on the topic. Is there anything important to know before i change by belts? ( Ive only changed belts once on a G20 )

2) I have a 89 vert. I know you can cut the wire to get rid of the speed governor. I was just wondering will i still pass smog? Also, what RPM would i max at?

 

Awww, shady though. No one is trying to help me? I represent that small percentage of RX7's in the bay and yall trying to have me ride with sqeaky belts?? and a speed gov at that?

 

1. There is nothing special or different about the rotary when it comes to belts.
Get good ones (I like Gatorbacks) and make sure the tension is correct.

2. No idea, don't have a vert.
