2 questions...
first off, what are the differences (advantages/disads) and whatnot to a streetport, bridgeport, and raceported rotary? i think its kinda obvious, but i wanna know the exacts (diameters, adds compression, etc)
second, i have a 91 NA, when i looked the vin up it said it was a t2...it has the t2 hood so im guessing someone took the t2 out and swapped it for an NA. Someone told me i now have a 87 NA engine. How do i tell? How do i tell if i still have the t2 tranny or if they swapped that as well. While im at it, is there a way to tell the difference on the drivetrains to?
The reason i ask is because i plan to turbocharge this engine eventually, and i need to know what i have so i can plan on what needs to be "reinforced" or done to the engine to take a turbo....
thanks in advance...

Look at the trottle body. On the S4 there is a little rod that goes down to the Oil metering pump, its not there on an s5.
Are you sure that its an n/a? There would be ALOT of work to convert it to an NA from a Turbo. If someone was trying to save money by putting the NA in they would still have to spend a shitload to get the wireing right. As well as the ECU and lots of other stuff. It doesnt really make any sense.

I dont think its that hard to convert to NA, all you need is the NA engine harness, ecu and engine with accesories, its preaty much a plug and play thing....
