First thing is, when I accelerate, there is a soft gringing kind of noise. Could this be the flywheel or a tranny issue?

Its not a harsh noise, and nothing sounds like its falling apart, but when I press the gas I can hear this noise. Its almost like a vibrating type of noise. It only seems to appear when the car is in gear, If I just rev the engine i don't hear it tho.

Second thing, my blinkers aren't working. I hear the flashers but none of the lights accociated with the blinkers work. I'm sure I can track the problem down but was wondering if anyone else has had a problem like this.

The grinding could be due to your tranny fluid. Check it or have it checked. I had this problem in my old NA RX7 and if you wait too long it might cost you a new tranny. If your tranny fluid is low than that grinding will occur during acceleration, but not when reving.

 

have you checked all your bulbs?

And, ya, I checked all the bulbs, they look fine. Its EVERY light associated with the blinkers. Even in the instrument panel and outside. I may buy a couple cheap bulbs just to double check, but I have a feeling its a wire issue. I CAN hear the flashers tho.

I just had to rebuild my light switch for the parking lights... twice!
