2 pressure sensor's to 1 car???

i found a N326 pressure sensor INSIDE the cab today near the ECU while i was removing my harness???
is there always one there?? i never knew if so?
is is this a hacked set up????
i have one under the hood?

that is your barometric pressure sensor, it measures ambient pressures to adjust the fuel trim according to climate and ambient conditions. the MAP sensor only measures intake vacuum and pressures.

Atmospheric pressure sensor. If you live at an altitude like say, 750ft, and you disconnect it, it (ECU) will defaut to zero altitude and the AFR's will read noticably richer. Been there, done that.

S4 cars only.
