2 intake mani questions
first has anybody else purchased the spacer to put an FD uim on a s5 lim? if so did it fit with no modification required? also what can i remove off the FD UIM that will still allow me to run it on an FC with no problem, i kno i need the tps but is ther anything else?
better torque band on the FD UIM. slight hp jump in the higher rpms also.
Other than the TPS, the obvious such an intercooler piping will have to be rerouted. Doing such a mod would recommend running a standalone also.

From: Kissimmee Fl,
i will be running a microtech lt-10 but i just wanna be sure that all those little sensors here and there on the mani could be eliminated
I said "RECOMMEND" running a standalone. Why? Because if you're using the POS stock ECU, then why would you even want to do this type of mod?
Using the FD UIM automatically means you're running a front mount intercooler. Maybe a turbo upgrade, bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, boost controller, and fuel controller if you're lucky.
With all those mods, then you should already be thinking about a standalone and dumping the stock ECU/harness.

you're trying to mix up my words.
IF YOU'RE JUST DOING THE FD UIM, then a STANDALONE is RECOMMENDED, but not a must, depending on additional modifications.
But if you have all the mods I listed then a standalone is REQUIRED!
