2+2 Seating in a 1991 N/A
Does anyone know what it would take for me to add a rear seat to my 91 n/a? I did not see that listed as an option in the factory add-ons... Any words of wisdom?
I believe it's a straight bolt-in. I know the Australian version only had the 2+2 configuration. Very rare here in Nth America.
My question is, unless you have legless midgets you would like to seat in your car, why would you want the back seat??

I used to have a back seat in mine.... but it came with bins originally. YES, it is a direct bolt in conversion, takes about 1/2 hour. VERY EASY.
now here's the down side.
NO F'ING ROOM! Yes, legless midgits would find it quite roomy in there, but the average (and average meaning anywhere ABOVE 3 feet tall
) person just cannot fit in there. The ONLY reason you'd want one is for small children.
Here is a pic of how small they are:

And if you have long legs like me, the driver's seat has to go all the way back, giving you about 4 inches of space to put your legs in the back. I would have to get the person behind me to lay across the seat.
