All,

Woke up Thursday morning and discovered that my RX-7 and MS6 had both been hit by thieves (same one I assume). Apparently, Mazda doesn't make the windows for the FC anymore. Any suggestions on the best way to get a clean passenger side window? I can go to some pull-a-part or car-part.com, but wanted to check the RX7 internet brain as to any differences in the windows over the years and if there is a certain type I should try and find. Did the OEM factory windows have any color tint built in or anything? I saw some seller online advertising a blue factory tint in the window...which I doubted.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

 

I would suggest a want to buy post in the second gen section of this forum. There are a lot of parts hoarders on here and I'm sure you could get one there. I have an extra but only one so.... I'm reluctant to let go it. You could try Styx.

 

the side windows are just coupe/vert.

they were all blue tint, except the 10AE and Japanese Ifini, which are bronze

rear window is just wiper or not, again the 10AE/ifini cars are bronze vs blue.

windshield is S4/S5, glass is physically the same, the S5 just has more shading to cover up the seatbelts. 10AE is again bronze

 

Thanks all for the input, didn't realize they had a slight blue tint. Wanted to confirm before I purchased one off of Ebay.
