Im looking at an 89 gtu that has 190k on the clock but only 10k on the engine, new headers, new intake, pretty nice interior and a straight body, also has a new clutch but it has trans problems and needs to be replaced. I was just wondering what it would be worth and how much the trans would be for it.

$2000? Whether or not it has 10k on the engine, when you look up the value of the car you have to put 190k.

 

yeah I agree with Ryde.. around $2K.

Used trannies can be be found for as little as $50 at some junk yards if you are not picky about it having the correct top gear.
